Demand Grows for Caring Canines Calendar PDF Print E-mail

At the end of November the Foundation has received well over 400 orders for Caring Canines calendars, the proceeds of which will benefit the Foundation and long term care research. The calendar features 60 dogs that visit or live or work in nursing homes across the country. The beautiful full-color photos show a variety of breeds and sizes of dogs, many with their elderly human companions.

From day one, the AMDA Foundation Futures program has been very popular and eminently successful. The Foundation has received generous industry support for the program. However, in recent years, there is less money available to support such programs. As a result, the Foundation has been creative about securing funding to keep this important program going.
