 Vol XXVIII, Sep `06 Patient safety culture. Does this exist in nursing facilities? And does it make a difference? Steven Handler, MD, MS, Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh and AMDA Foundation Research Network member, will be addressing this at a Research Network Fall Conference session this October. In addition to presenting some data from a small study on the topic, Handler will talk about why it is important to measure safety culture and how to instill this in facilities. |

After the auction, these residents were thrilled to hear that their contributions helped a worthy cause and that their paintings and other items would grace offices and homes nationwide. |
