 Vol II, Dec `02 Through January 6, 2003, the AMDA Foundation is accepting applications for the 2003 Futures Program. Since 2001, the Program has provided a select group of early career physicians a real-world perspective on life as a long term care (LTC) professional. The 1-day event, supported by an educational grant from Janssen, will be held March 6, 2003 in conjunction with the AMDA Annual Symposium. |

These prizes provide seven early career medical directors with free travel, hotel lodging and meeting registration for the AMDA Annual Symposium, March 6-9. 2003, in Orlando, Florida. AMDA Foundation Awarded Partnership and Conference Grants by AHRQ |

 Vol II, Dec `02 The AMDA Foundation has received a 4-year grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), a Public Health Service agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services, to support the formation of national- and state-based Long Term Care Quality Improvement Partnerships. The Foundation will collaborate with state Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs) and national long term care provider organizations to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of AMDA evidence-based clinical practice guideline (CPG) toolkits in long term care facilities. |
