Stop By-Give Back: Visit Exhibits and Help Shape LTC’s Future

Long Term Care Medicine—2012 will feature a new and unique way for you to support the AMDA Foundations Futures Program. Through the “Stop By-Give Back” program, participating exhibitors will donate $1 to the Futures Program for each visitor to their booth. Look for the logo at participating exhibits to maximize the value of your time in the exhibit hall. It is a win-win proposition.
AMDA members and friends whose lives were touched by James Pattee, MD, CMD, the father of the CMD program, can pay tribute to their friend and mentor at the 2012 Wall of Caring. Dr. Pattee, who passed away late last year, left behind an important long term care educational and leadership legacy.
In 2010, the United States Congress designated March 20th as the National Day of Recognition for Long Term Care Physicians. This initiative started with an AMDA House of Delegates resolution from the Georgia Medical Directors Association honoring the memory and work of AMDA founder William Dodd, MD, CMD. Celebrate this special day with your facility staff and residents.
