Vol XXIX, Dec 06
Attendees at the Foundation's first Art of Caring- Works of heART auction at AMDA's 2006 Annual Symposium raved about the event and have showcased their acquisitions in their offices and homes. Now at the 2007 meeting in Hollywood, FL, everyone will have the opportunity to find out what last year's buzz was all about. From paintings and ceramic pieces by nursing home and assisted living facility residents to photographs and other works by AMDA members and professional artists, attendees at the 2007 auction will be able to bid on a wide variety of treasures.

The event will feature both silent and live auctions, as well as live entertainment, food, and beverages. There also will be some special surprises that no one will want to miss. Starting in mid-January, the AMDA Foundation Web site will offer a sneak peek at some of the works of art to be featured at the auction, so members can identify the art they would like to bid on and begin planning their bidding strategies.

The auction will immediately follow the 2007 AMDA Presidents Reception. Tickets for the auction are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door. You may purchase your auction tickets on the 2007 AMDA Symposium Registration form.

The AMDA Foundation is still accepting donations for the 2007 Art of Caring — Works of heART auction.
