The 2007 AMDA Foundation/Pfizer Quality Improvement Awards program has extended its deadline for therapeutic proposals to January 12, 2007.  The Foundation is accepting proposals that address any one of these five therapeutic areas:
  • Pain management in palliative care
  • Dementia including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease
  • Hypertension including systolic and/or diastolic hypertension
  • Hyperlipidemia including attention to interactions of the statins with polypharmacy
  • Urinary incontinence including attention to medications impact on behavior and cognition

Two award winners receive $10,000-$15,000 to support their projects. Full eligibility criteria and all application materials will be available online at: www.amda.com/foundation/grants.cfm.
