AMDA Annual Symposium Session to Focus on PIN

In recent months, this newsletter has reported on some exciting developments regarding the AMDA Foundation/Physicians Inquiries Network (PIN) partnership. Now AMDA members and other long term care practitioners will have an opportunity to hear more about this important relationship and how they can be part of it. PIN will be the topic of a session at the 2007 AMDA Annual Symposium, set for March 29 - April 1 2007 in Hollywood, FL. Speakers Larry Lawhorne, MD; Cari Levy, MD, CMD; and Marissa Galicia-Castillo, MD, will provide an update about PIN, describing the partnership's mission and activities to date. Session participants will learn how they can become a member of the PIN's long term care panel and hear the results of the panel's first voting booth. They also will learn how they can participate in the question refinement and manuscript development process.
