At last year's AMDA Foundation Works of HeART Art Auction, works of art from residents of several nursing facilities helped raise over $30,000 for long term care research. After the auction, these residents were thrilled to hear that their contributions helped a worthy cause and that their paintings and other items would grace offices and homes nationwide.

Now you can let your residents enjoy the same pride and sense of accomplishment. Donate paintings, drawings, sculptures, pottery, and other items from your facility to the 2007 art auction. If possible, include some personal information about the artist with each donation.

You also can contribute to the art auction by donating items from your personal art collection. The Foundation welcomes paintings, lithographs, sculptures, or other works of art. Do you have art in the basement or store room collecting dust? Put it to good use and let it help enable a strong future for long term care research.
