The AMDA Foundation's Long Term Care Research Network, under the careful guidance of Director Larry Lawhorne, MD, and the Research Network Steering Committee, has made tremendous strides in the past 12 months. This November, preliminary results from three Network initiatives--the Statin Study, the Diabetes Study, and the Do Not Hospitalize (orders) Study--will be discussed at the Third Annual AMDA Foundation Research Network Conference in Chicago. Proposals for new studies will be accepted until October 24.
 
All AMDA members are eligible to join the Research Network, and up to 80 Network members may attend the Annual Conference. Details are below.
