We aimed to select facility champions with longevity at the facility, to minimize the risk of turnover. Initially, during the recruitment phase, facility champions helped project staff gauge the level of interest at each facility by completing a short survey targeting staff’s willingness to participate. The survey results, combined with the other inclusion/exclusion criteria, helped us select participating facilities.
Today, our facility champions continue to work diligently with project staff as the study facilities implement their assigned CPGs and continue with data collection.
