State Spotlight: Trainings

Vol VIII, Aug `05

At the LTC-QI Partnership, our goal is to complete most--if not all--of our state training sessions in September 2005. As a result, July and August are busy months for four of our states and their state nurse coordinators:

Indiana

Starting the week of August 22nd, Kathy Johnson, RN, will conduct three training sessions with three Indiana facilities.

Florida

With one round of Florida facilities already finished with baseline data collection, Hope Caldwell, RN, MS, has scheduled her second round of training for the week of August 15th. Seven additional Florida facilities will then join the project.

Texas

July and August have seen a flurry of trainings in Texas. Louise Jones, RN, trained a total of 17 facilities in four separate Texas training sessions. These facilities are currently collecting baseline data.

Ohio

Beginning the week of August 15th, Tomi Groppenbacher, RN, will conduct three training sessions with seven facilities in Ohio.
