State Spotlight: Florida

We're excited to announce the project rollout in Florida! After delays caused largely by last year's hurricanes and their damage, our Florida nurse coordinator, Hope Caldwell, has recruited enough facilities to begin training.

Facilities are focused around the Tampa and Orlando areas. As a result, training will occur in both locations on two separate days:

April 27 (Tampa)
April 28 (Orlando)

The training will be conducted in the same manner as in Pennsylvania: Hope will guide participants through presentations and interactive activities to teach them about CPG implementation and data collection. After training, facilities will begin collecting process of care data using the data collection Web site:

www.nhqi-chartdata.org

They will also begin the process of implementing their assigned CPG (either pain management or pressure ulcer prevention).
