Our Last Issues

Vol XXVII, Mar `07

The LTC-QI Partnership released our first e-Newsletter in December 2004. Twenty-seven months later, as the project moves into its analytic phase, the e-Newsletters are winding down. Over the past two years, we have provided regular project updates, summarized current research, and even highlighted events—such as Hurricane Katrina—that affected nursing home residents.

After this month, the e-Newsletter will no longer be issued monthly. We will, however, write two future updates: the first, containing our long-awaited project results; the second, containing information and next steps for the coalition.

While the month of March, as the saying goes, “comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb,” our plan is for the e-Newsletter to both begin and end on a high note.

And in keeping with the theme of lions, our goal is to continue to persevere with this project—and in long-term care research—with tenacity. We hope that our partners are equally as passionate about improving the lives and care of nursing home residents; and we look forward to your continued partnership with the AMDA Foundation.
