 Vol XXVII, Mar `07 After three years as Clinical Nurse Manager for the LTC-QI Partnership, Barbara Calabrese, RN, BA has resigned as Director of Research for the AMDA Foundation and accepted a position with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Barbara’s 10 years of research experience began at Johns Hopkins, where she previously served as a Research Nurse Coordinator, a Senior Research Coordinator/Manager and Coinvestigator for multi-site community based asthma intervention studies. In her new role, Barbara will be a Research Nurse in the School of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition. Her responsibilities will include coordinating two National Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored studies related to: (1) a nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) clinical research network fatty liver database; and (2) the Treatment of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) in Children (TONIC) trial.
The LTC-QI Partnership team thanks Barbara for her dedication to the LTCQI Partnership and wishes her the best of luck in her new position. We look forward to continuing to collaborate
