After three years as Clinical Nurse Manager for the LTC-QI Partnership, Barbara Calabrese, RN, BA has resigned as Director of Research for the AMDA Foundation and accepted a position with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Barbara’s 10 years of research experience began at Johns Hopkins, where she previously served as a Research Nurse Coordinator, a Senior Research Coordinator/Manager and Coinvestigator for multi-site community based asthma intervention studies. In her new role, Barbara will be a Research Nurse in the School of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition. Her responsibilities will include coordinating two National Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored studies related to: (1) a nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) clinical research network fatty liver database; and (2) the Treatment of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) in Children (TONIC) trial.

The LTC-QI Partnership team thanks Barbara for her dedication to the LTCQI Partnership and wishes her the best of luck in her new position. We look forward to continuing to collaborate
with Barbara on our JAMDA manuscript—and future endeavors.
