Below are brief monthly updates intended to keep you up-to-date:


Participating Nursing Homes

 All participating nursing homes have now completed two of the three data collection periods and entered their six-month sustainability period.

Pennsylvania homes have already completed their third data collection period. The remaining homes will begin in October, November, or December; all homes will finish by January 2007.

Partnership Survey

 The telephone survey of all National Quality Coalition members is now complete, and select summary results are include below. Among respondents:
  • 8 (89%) agree that long-term care research is valuable;
  • 8 (89%) believe an AMDA Foundation research board is valuable; and
  • 8 (89%) work for organizations that would be supportive of their involvement in an AMDA Foundation research board.
