About the AMDA Foundation Futures Program PDF Print E-mail

The AMDA Foundation is pleased to announce the return of an exciting opportunity for residents and fellows who are interested in long term care practice: the AMDA Foundation Futures Program.

Held during the Long Term Care Medicine 2011 (formerly AMDA's Annual Symposium) this intensive learning experience is designed to expose residents and fellows to the numerous career opportunities available in long term care. All participants who are chosen for this competitive award will receive the following benefits:

  • Admission to the AMDA Foundation Futures Program on March 24, 2011
  • Registration to the Long Term Care Medicine 2011 (formerly called AMDA's Annual Symposium) March 24-27, 2011 in Tampa, FL
  • AMDA membership for one year beginning in March 2011
  • Access to an AMDA Mentoring Program
In addition to the benefits listed above, participants who are granted a full award will also receive:
  • Transportation to and from the meeting in accordance with AMDA Foundation travel policies
  • Four nights lodging from March 24-27, 2011 (to be shared with one Futures Program participant)
Due to funding constraints there are a very limited number of full awards available. Many fellowship and/or residency programs will pay for travel/lodging to one professional conference per year. Talk with your program director and let them know that this is THE Long Term Care Medicine program to attend in 2011!
