Title Care and Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism in the Long-Term Care Facility
Aim This study will provide the following data:
  1. The relationship of VTE prevention adherence in long-term care facilities in poor-performing hospitals regions compared to those in higher-performing regions
  2. Effectiveness of a VTE education intervention among long-term care facilities in poor- performing regions compared to those in higher-performing regions

Recruitment The AMDA Foundation is looking to recruit several long term care facilities for participation in this study. The goal is to review 400 patient charts between 20 facilities for the first phase of the study, and review 100 charts between 10 facilities for the second phase of the study.
