Merry Christmas is a 2 year old Boston Terrier who enjoys visiting the residents and staff at the Liberty County Medical Center in Chester, MT. This facility is a 25 bed critical access hospital, and long-term care residents are in swing beds and usually number 20 or 21.
 Merry Christmas, Liberty County Medical Center Chester is located in far north central Montana and has a population of about 900 people. Merry’s mom is Dr. Gladys E. Young, MD who was the Medical Director of the Liberty County Nursing Home before the conversion to Critical Access. Merry has been visiting since she was a small puppy and has long term relationships with the residents. She has learned not to go into the Acute Care Areas and will wait anxiously at the end of the hall when her friends go there.
