Joey, Garden Crest Convalescent Hospital & Residential Care Facility

I am a recreation therapy director at Garden Crest Convalescent Hospital where we have two in-house veteran therapy dogs. They both belong to me, and they come to work daily.

Joey, Garden Crest Convalescent Hospital & Residential Care Facility

Joey, a 12-1/2 year old Golden Retriever who, for the past 8 years, worked at the Jewish Aging Home and at Garden Crest in Silver Lake in Los Angeles. Since Joey is now a geriatric dog himself, and since he has traveled continents, serviced the aged, the young and the ill, I thought he deserved at least to be considered for the honor of recognition. Besides, he is an amazingly handsome fellow!
