Tyke is a 1 ½ year old Parti Pomeranian who lives in Coldwater, Ohio with my parents, 2 brothers, and sister. We sure do have a lot of fun at home! But when I’m not at home spending time with my family-I have another home I go to. See, my mom is a hairstylist at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
 Tyke, Briarwood Village And I guess you could call me her assistant as we work as partners at Cut’N Curl Beauty Salon. This idea all started when my mom told me about a lady who didn’t like sitting under the dryer. That’s when I entered into the business! Mom fixes the resident’s hair and I get to keep them happy. Sometimes I sit on their laps and get lots of attention and hugs, and even some great backrubs. Or if they are having a really bad day, I do tricks for them: I sit, lie down, roll over, and even give them “high fives”. When I’m not being held by my friends or playing with them, I run in circles and try to make them laugh. Sometimes I get carried away and bump into walls! Once in awhile when mom is busy, I sneak away to visit a few friends, like Marlea, Rosie, Adeline, and Mary. They’re my best friends! They love to see me as much as I love seeing them. I usually curl up in their lap so they will pet me or I beg for treats. Mom usually hunts me down or I mosey my way back to the beauty shop. Briarwood Village is such a fun place to be, it sure doesn’t feel like work at all. I guess all the attention, petting, and putting smiles on my friends’ faces are just in a day’s work!
