Introducing Katie! Katie is a black lab mix who has a great knack for making folks smile. This pup is quite busy. She enjoys working with all kinds of people! She enjoys listening to children practice their reading skills at The Virginia Beach Library’s PAWsitive Reading program twice a month, she visits at the USO where she says goodbye to the troops as they deploy for war zones. Here we feel this is her most important job, working with elders in our Hoy Health Care Center at Westminster-Canterbury.
 Katie, Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay Katie is 4 years old and has been coming to Westminster-Canterbury for 2 years. She spreads joy and smiles where ever she goes! Her owner, Isabel Pollard, knows firsthand how important Katie’s visits are, as her father is a resident in health care!
