Many of the tributes posted on the Wall recognized Andrew Weinberg, MD, CMD; David Wilcox, MD, CMD, CWS, FACP; and Robert Townsend, MD, AMDA veterans and long-term care leaders who passed away in the last year. Other contributors honored parents, friends, patients, and colleagues who inspired their careers in long-term care.

In addition to the numerous individual donations, 12 AMDA state chapters made generous pledges, including Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Nebraska, Maryland, Michigan, New York, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Washington.

"We are pleased and proud that so many people came out to show their support of the AMDA Foundation. The Wall has become an important tradition for the Foundation and the Annual Symposium, and the tributes are an ongoing source of inspiration to us all," said Foundation Executive Director Gwendolyn Maddox.
